"3 years ago I tore my meniscus. It was unable to be repaired successfully, so my running days were over.
For the next 1.5 years I couldn’t do much activity due to pain and I really didn’t care about my health any longer. I gained a significant amount of weight. I knew I didn’t feel good about myself, so I decided to join the Women’s Gym.
I got Ann Olson to be my personal trainer two times a week. Ann has kept me motivated and I look forward to each session. Ann encourages me even if I’m having an OK kind of day. Ann is always upbeat.
I have lost 15 pounds, still have a ways to go to reach my goal, but on the right track. Ann & I talk about mindfully eating as well as trying to get adequate sleep to get my life in balance.
Joining the Women’s Gym has been so beneficial for getting me back onto a healthy lifestyle. Thank you, Ann for all your encouragement, you are such an asset to the gym."
